Course Description:

Counseling as a profession indicates that there are ethical guidelines, in which this course will examine the role of the counselor as it relates to a Christian code of ethic.

Course Goals and Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:

1) Internalize, reflect upon and understand biblical ethical standard

2) Begin or focus on the dynamics of Christian ethics

3) Review the national board for certified counselors code of ethics

4) Personalize position on ethical solutions and apply it to professional and community involvement
