This course is no different than any other university course you have had except you do it in cyberspace. You should not be surprised or feel awkward by the way this course is presented or conducted in the virtual online classroom 'just a walk in the park'. This course is designed for ease of your benefit and learning and does require a heavy class participation component instead of in class Professor lectures. There will be two exams and articles. So, what else is new?

Really, not much – except the way you are 'heard' is through conversing through writing. At first, this may seem time consuming; and, for some, more difficult because there are a few more steps one has to take to make the discussion points. But this is normal. You do not even have to drive to class and try to find a parking space in inclement weather.

There is one other difference you will notice. You have to learn to navigate the virtual classroom. If you have never taken an online course before, it will take you a week or so to become familiar and comfortable with this 'portal' to your own line education. The sooner you start the better off you are. The more you participate the easier it gets.
