Biographical Note
A native of Mobile, Alabama, I have lived in Lubbock for the last six years.  I have 24 years of church staff experience, in churches ranging in attendance from 40 to 3,500, as both a senior pastor and a pastoral staff member.  In addition to my schoolwork, both as student and teacher, I am currently serving as the bivocational senior (and only!) pastor of Grace Baptist Fellowship – a mission church in Brownfield, Texas.  I am also founder and president of Courage Ministries, a ministry that seeks to bring healing and wholeness to Christians in pain.  I am married to Robin, my best friend and wife of 19 years, and have three children, aged 18, 18, (yep, twins) and 16.  My driving passion is summed up in one word:  MADISEL!  That's an acronym for "Make a difference in someone else's life!"  As we study and serve together I know we'll do that for one another.
