Course Description:
Explores the development of the scientific method and process by which science explains the physical realities of our world. Key developments in the scientific disciplines and their impact on human society are considered. Introduces emerging trends in scientific thought and discovery.

Course Goals and Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:
1. Be exposed to the development of scientific thought;
2. Understand the scientific method of investigation and its consequences;
3. Explore the nature of research as a search for truth;
