Bio:I was born Stacy Atkins in Baie Verts, Canada (don't worry I have no idea exactly where it is either)! I have one
brother who is almost four years younger than myself Throughout my whole life without realizing it until recently the Lord has afforded me access to the spiritual realm. I was raised in the church but I decided to
go my own way in high school. Even though I did many things that I knew was wrong that put me in many precarious situations, I now plainly see that the protection of the Lord was heavily upon me. I grew up
and graduated from high school in Toronto and decided to get away from my strict parents and attend university in the United States.
My mother strongly suggested that I attend the only
Christian university that was interested in recruiting me (for softball). I consented only to avoid any more conflict. I did my own thing in college and rebelled even further. During this time, I was
constantly surrounded by strong Christian men and women who did not condone by any means what I did but supported me all the same. I knew that God was beginning to really chase me during my senior year but still I
did not do anything. I graduated in 1998 with a B.A in Psychology, Sociology and a minor in Counseling from Southwest Baptist University. I finally surrendered my life that summer and since then
it has been a roller coaster ride with some rests ever since. I say a roller coaster because the God began to move fast.
He drew me close to Him, wooed me, poured His wisdom into me, showed me much
of Him and began to show me the world through His eyes. He brought me up in Him so fast that many times I was not aware of the changes and when I was I felt that I needed to stop and take a breather. I
decided to radically follow Christ as Paul did even though I had no idea what that meant but God did and I believe all of what has happened in my life especially know and the unique experiences I have with Him is to
prepare me to do just that. Be a forerunner.
I received my M.Ed from S.B.U. in the spring of 2002.and am now currently substitute teaching and teaching courses at Ames Christian.
