Assignment 2) James Hudson Taylor Missionary to
China
Hudson Taylor went to the extreme in His evangelizing
the Chinese even adopting Chinese clothing. For this
practice he was attacked by his fellow missionaries
however when all foreigners were removed from China he
was able to stay and he won many Chinese people to
Christ and founded the China Inland Mission which at his
death included 205 mission stations with over 800
missionaries, and 125,000 Chinese Christians. He was
considered a radical as all of his workers lived with
the Chinese and dressed like them in order to win them.
