Assignments for this course take the form of written summaries, research, and analysis. They are designed to help us work through the course objectives, while keeping a focus on our spiritual growth through conceptual learning.

For each assignment, please develop a document and submit it to me in either Microsoft Word or HTML format (your word processing software should permit you to do a "save as" and choose either of those formats).

Please note that all essay questions should be answered with 250-500 words. The paper should be standard typing format (double spaced...) is required. Papers will be graded on readability, documentation, organizations and insight. 

Assignment 1: 

.This Course is designed to be completed in a 90 day period, therefore this aspect of field experience is designed to involve you for  minimum of three-six weeks in a local setting. Please submit the name and address of the anticipated counseling experience. 

Assignment 2: 

Students are expected to keep a journal at least one entry per week reflecting on the counseling experience.  

Assignment 3:-Assignment 6

Submit one or two case studies at the end of your counseling experience, however keep weekly records and submit the final case study..

The student may exercise creativity in reporting on his or her experience, but it must be kept in mind that an adequate report will contain the following: Format

 1. Description of the experience- describe what happened and what you did., and report as much detail as possible

  2. Background-report persons involved fictitious names or initials may be used to protect the privacy of the individuals.  Where or how you came involved.  

  3. Analyze and evaluate- Identify issues, relationship and dynamics of the counseling process

  4. Reflection upon the experience-What are the ethical, behavioral, philosophical or theological significances of this experience.
