Course Description:

To give the counselor an opportunity to apply Christian counseling principles in the employment of skills in a local church, or community agency. One –hour will be spent per week at on site locations to engage in the counseling process for a twelve week period.

Course Goals and Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:

1. This will provide an opportunity for the student to apply Christian principles in the employment of skills and gifts in specific practices of ministry or in the local community.

2. To promote the student's identity formation as a people helper and to integrate the academic and practical application of the counseling process.

3. To begin to see the dynamics of being in relationship with those receiving counseling, peers and supervisors

4.  To evaluate the structure and  counseling of the local church or community agency..
