A native of Detroit, Joye was graduated from Azusa Pacific University (B.S. Bus. Admin). and Sacramento Bible College (B.S. of Theology). Her current educational
pursuit are dual MA degrees in Clinical Psychology and Christian Counseling. She has called Southern California home since 1996.
She is the author of several books, a publisher and hosts two cable
programs "Senior Life" and "Christian Living". She teaches male sex offenders aged 12-17 in a non-public school system.
The founder and director of Christian Living Ministries, Joye is dedicated to
teaching low income battered and abused women to "fish" by providing life and job skill training so they can feed themselves and their families for a lifetime.
She is a board member and Executive Director
of the California Chapter of The Women of God International Fellowship and serves as an Ombudsman for Long Term Care. She also sits on the board of the Aids Foundation for Sub-Saharan Africa. As a motivational speaker
she has taught on emotional healing and related subjects.
