Course Description:
A study of the philosophical foundations of evangelism are explored as it relates to the principles and practices of evangelism in light of the New Testament. Key topics to be discussed include the Great Commission, persuasion in evangelism, the Christian's role and responsibility in evangelism.

Course Goals and Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:
1. Have read and discussed the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and significant commentaries on it;
2. Be exposed to the tradition of evangelism;
3. Understand the evangelistic mindset;
4. Consider the life and work philosophy that contributes to effective evangelism;
5. Be exposed to challenges to effective evangelism;
6. Consider the spiritual dimension and the human dimension to evangelism.
