There are numerous references throughout the bible on Jesus proclaiming the kingdom. The disciples of Jesus walked, talked and learned from him many things.  Among the things learned was the use of evangelism.  After Pentecost, evangelism became largely used of human, ecclesiastical evangelistic activity.  In the New Testament, when the Holy Spirit is at work, and in control, evangelizing is possible.  In 1 Peter 1:12 " [It is these very] things which have now already been made known plainly to you by those who preached the good news (the Gospel) to you by the [same] Holy Spirit sent from heaven". Evangelism played a significant role in spreading the gospel and giving birth to the New Testament church.   This course  will bring to each learner a greater awareness and understanding of  what "go and baptize all nations" truly means.  They will also be familiar with the tools of persuasion and their role and responsibility in spreading the good news.
